Hazrat Sheikh Maulana Syed Abrar Hussain Shah DB is truly considered an amalgam of all sorts of worldly and religious virtues.
After completing his B.S in Computer Sciences and M.S in Project Management from the auspicious University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxilla, he went on to pursue an illustrious career in software engineering and development. He is the Founder and CEO of Centigma Soft. and also serves as the General manager of operations at Cube Health Care System.

Sheikh Abrar has delivered lectures and training sessions in a variety of institutions, including medical colleges and hospitals like PIMS, Khyber Medical College and Shalimar Medical College. He has also delivered lectures of technical nature in institutes like Khyber Girls Medical College, Fatima Jinnah Medical University, North West Hospital Peshawar, Islamabad Medical and Dental College and Rawal Institute of Health Sciences. He also served as a Project Manager in the 2017 Census of Pakistan.

His thirst for religious knowledge forced him to undergo the rigorous eight-year traditional curriculum covering a range of disciplines including Arabic, Tafsir of the Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic beliefs (‘aqaid), Logic (mantiq), Law (fiqh) and Legal theory (usul al-fiqh) thus completing the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum and receiving an ‘Aalim degree.

Sheikh Abrar has also been trained in the spiritual sciences under the supervision and guidance of Hazrat Sheikh Maulana Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi D.B. Formally granted khilafa’ by the world renowned Sheikh is a testament to Sheikh Abrar’s unflinching commitment to self-development and purification. As of now, he holds his majaalis of Allah’s remembrance at his residence in Islamabad.

Together with his wife, he has established the Urwa tul Emaan Institute, an educational institute for women which offers on-site and online programs in Islamabad.
